Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day with your families! We had a big dinner with my extended family, and it was great being able to spend a little quality time with everyone.
So this week I thought it would be cool to share with you some of the boutique shops right here in yyc, specifically Inglewood, since I spent my Saturday afternoon down there and was reminded of what an incredible area of the city it is.
Not only do these shops have some of the coolest products you’ll find in Calgary, they also have the friendliest staff (not to mention they all make for a great Instagram photo).
Another fun fact…. All of these shops are puppy friendly! I brought my dog along with me this past weekend and most of the shops even had treats for him (definitely a bonus as he is a little shy and we’re trying to work on his people skills).
Looking to add a little green to your home? Plant should be one of your first stops. They have an insane amount of succulents to chose from (among other plants) and even offer classes on how to make your own terrarium. They also offer a great selection of chic pots and other apparatus’ to store your plants in.
Kent of Inglewood
Although this store might look like it’s just for the boys (and they do have some amazing options for the guys in your life) almost all of their products are actually unisex. From fragrances and specialty shaving kits to axes and knives they have a beautiful selection of unique products. I currently have my eye on a bar cart set for my new house.
Not only is this store incredibly visually appealing (hello natural lighting) but they stock some amazing beauty and home products. With brands like Grown Alchemist and Aesop they have curated a collection of skin care products you won’t find anywhere else in yyc. They also offer some great all natural cleaning/laundry products and beautiful home accessories.
If you’re looking for amazing maxi dresses and rompers then Adorn needs to be on your radar. They offer brands like One Teaspoon and For Love and Lemons, which are hard to come by here in yyc. I’ll definitely be stopping in to add a few pieces to my spring/summer wardobe.
The Livery Shop
Owned and operated by two local couples with brands of their own (Camp Brand Goods and CoutuKitsch) you’re going to have a hard time walking into this store and not seeing 5 things you want to buy immediately. They carry a wide variety of local brands and have everything from accessories and clothing to home decor. Whether you’re looking for a cool gift or maybe just a gift to yourself I would highly recommend checking them out.
