Outfit Inspo: Dressing for a Date

Getting dressed can be a fairly stressful task (anyone else ever have a closet breakdown when suddenly none of your clothes look good on you?) but getting dressed for a date is a whole other level of stress.  In hopes of eliminating just a little bit of that stress here are some outfit formulas you can follow when getting dressed for your dates this spring!

The Dinner Date

For a dinner date you can never go wrong with a good pair of denim. Whether skinny, flared or distressed is your denim vibe this outfit formula works with them all. Dress this look up with a pair of heels and a more structured top. This is also a great look to play up with fun accessories like a coloured bag or a statement earring.

The Coffee Date

Whether it’s a coffee date or a movie date you want to keep things more casual. For this date look pair a mini or midi dress with a denim jacket and a fun sneaker to keep things flirty and comfortable.

The Evening Date

If you’re off to somewhere a little fancier for your date then a trouser and silk cami is always a good way to go. Since you can switch this outfit formula up with prints and fit it can be worn on repeat without anyone ever noticing. To finish this look just add a statement clutch, a good heel and some delicate jewelry.

What is your go to date outfit?
